Around the middle of July, I was 400 miles away from home on vacation. The bridge or nose piece on my glasses broke in half. When I got back, I took my glasses into the place where I bought them, which was called Lindsay optical. I learned at that time that titanium glasses could not be fixed because it would melt. That’s all well and good but they also were quite rude with me about it, told me that these kind of frames were no longer made, and that they had no other frames that my lenses would fit in. The lenses were just fine. I understood that maybe they could not be fixed, but they did not have to be so rude and act like I was a bother to them. I paid over $500 for these glasses just a couple years ago and they won’t stand by their product. I went to several different optical places and was unsuccessful, but at least they were polite. A friend of mine told me to look at the serial number on the frames and look them up. When I did, Modaframes came up with what appeared to be identical to my glasses frames. Well, I had never heard of this place and was a little reluctant because of how there are so many scam sites out there on the Internet. They were low priced so I’ve decided to go ahead and take a chance. I’m so glad I did because it was only about four days later. My frames arrived and my lenses fit perfectly. My glasses are as good as new and I even ordered a second set of frames just to have them, in case these break at some point. I am very, very satisfied with this company.
